Please read our terms and conditions fully before placing your order. By placing your order, you are agreeing that you have fully read and understand our terms and conditions and all orders are fully bound by these.


Wentwood work on a fixed price quotation scheme. This means there are no hidden charges and prices and invoice will be raised as per your agreed quotation.

Prices are set only once drawings are approved. Should any details be amended or added after drawings approved by either Wentwood or the client, quotation and price is subject to change. Wentwood will provide clear updated pricing before we proceed with any changes and require written approval to proceed on this basis.

Initial FOC consultation service

We value clarity with all of our clients and provide an initial consultation, proposal and quotation free of charge for all prospective clients. Included within service are the following:

  • Initial consultation via telephone or at our showroom. We gather information on your preferences, wishes and ideas for your project and request you to forward a sketch/dimensions for space, which we use to put together our initial proposal and quotation.
  • Initial proposal to included room plan and where possible sketches and or renders. We also put together a full detailed quotation alongside your proposal.
  • We are also happy to provide a followup meeting at our showroom/workshop if our proposal is of interest. This meeting will be up to 1hour. Any additional meetings requested, prior to confirming your project and deposit paid, will be charged at £45 + vat per hour.

Payment Terms

Full supply and installation service

A 5% deposit (up to maximum £500) will be taken of the initial quoted price to proceed with your order and once deposit is received your project will be confirmed in our schedule and an estimate installation advised.

Approximately 2-4 weeks prior to your manufacture slot, we will then organise and conduct a full site survey and meeting with client to discuss all detailing and specification.

Full construction drawings are then produced based on this meeting for client’s approval, whereby a 2nd instalment will be due to total 80% of the total price. (Inclusive of deposit payment) in order to progress your project into manufacture.

The remaining 20% (plus any additional items added) will be due on the final day of installation.

  • Clients can make amendments to construction drawings, with up to 3 draft revisions produced. Any further drafts required may incur charges.
  • Also included are up to 2 site visits (local projects only, 1 site survey included for nationwide projects) any further site visits required may incur charges.
  • Wentwood take all dimensional responsibility.

Supply only

On a supply only basis, dimensional responsibility lies with the client. Drawings (if agreed and not working from drawings provided) will be based on dimensions provided to Wentwood. We will manufacture, as per drawings provided or approved by client and from approval, we take no responsibility should there be any discrepancies due to inaccurate dimensioning.

Site Surveys

If clients are having any building works done, our site survey will need to be conducted once walls are plastered and flooring is in. As we manufacture everything specifically to dimensions taken from site, we need precise finished dimensions of finished ceiling heights and wall to wall runs otherwise inaccuracies can lead to potential problems at installation.

If further work has been carried out following our site survey and dimensions differ from point of survey and drawings provided. Charges may be incurred for any works or re-manufacture required to rectify.

Should we arrange and attend site on the understanding it is at an appropriate stage for survey, and site is not ready, there may be charges incurred for the wasted appointment.

Spray-painting and samples

Rather than offering a small range of our own colours, for full flexibility we can match to any RAL or high street branded colour (we may require client to provide sample depending on supplier). We can also send off a physical sample to match to.

We don’t provide colour sample spray outs as standard, but can provide sample spray outs at a cost of £100 per colour. Example spray outs can be seen in our showroom.

Our standard sheen level is 10%, alternative options are 20%, 30% and 40%.

We don’t currently offer a gloss, high gloss or burnished spray-painted finish but there are options for alternative pre-finished materials to achieve this look.

All quotations are inclusive of a single colour spray-painted or hand painted finish.

  • Each additional colour will incur a 5% surcharge.
  • Each additional finish type will incur a 5% surcharge.


Integrated & Built in appliances

We are a proud Miele Partner, providing competitive prices on all Miele products. We also supply a wide range of other brands, budget, mid-range and high-end products.
With appliances being such an integral part to the design and installation of your kitchen and to be able to ensure the smooth running of your project, it’s important for us to supply your appliances.

As part of our appliance package, we take all dimensional responsibility to incorporate your appliances into our cabinetry. During your cabinetry installation we also integrate your appliances into your cabinetry, installing all integrated appliances, dishwasher/fridge doors etc. into their appropriate places and preparing them for their final connections to be completed by your electrician. Delivery of your appliances are completely handled by Wentwood’s, and we remove all packaging from site.

If you would prefer to source your own appliances, this is a possibility but please note the below:
• Dimensional responsibility for the openings within cabinetry will lie with the client. We will require a full list of all make/model information of your appliances. We use information available from each manufacturer, but quality of this information differs greatly between manufacturers. You will be provided with opening sizes and will be your responsibility to ensure you appliances fit within our cabinetry. Specific drawings will be provided for your approval.
• Please ensure you include for installation from your 3rd party supplier. Wentwood’s will only install appliances supplied by us.
• Any amendments required to cabinetry to accommodate appliances following your signed drawing approval will be charged.

You are of course free to source any free-standing appliances or smaller worktop appliances yourselves. Please advise appropriate niche opening you require, and these will be incorporated within the design.

Freestanding appliances/specialized storage solutions

There is no sur-charge for client supplied free standing appliances.

Whilst Wentwood will make every effort to ensure knish sizes are suitable for the advised free standing appliances, Wentwood can only work on the technical data available and the quality and accuracy of technical data differs considerable between manufacturers. It is ultimately client’s responsibility to check their appliances will fit as per the drawing provided.

  • Placing and connecting the appliance is the customers responsibility.
  • If clients supply appliances, it is the client’s responsibility to dispose of all related packaging.
  • Wentwood may place appliance within given space for the sole purpose of checking the housing is constructed correctly and the appliance fits. This should in no way be construed as Wentwood installing the appliance in any way and appliance may need to be removed to fully commission and install the appliance.
  • Its the clients responsibility to have the appliances fully commissioned by a qualified professional. Wentwood take no responsibility for the commissioning of any appliances.
  • Wentwood take no responsibility in any way for the installation and commissioning of free standing appliances, supplied by Wentwood or a 3rd party.


Timescales are dependent on style and size of kitchen/furniture. An estimated lead time can be provided on request with quotation but we cannot guarantee manufacture lead times until after your order is placed (on receipt of 80% payment following drawing approval).

A mutually convenient installation start date is decided between Wentwood and the client, only once manufacture is underway.

Lead-time given is for manufacture only and Installation may not begin the next working day after completion.

Wentwood will do our upmost to accommodate preferred installation timescales and dates with clients, but will be subject to schedule.

Should clients be having building works completed prior to kitchen installation, Wentwood can be flexible to any delays that may occur However installation will need to occur within 3 weeks from completion of manufacture or client may incur storage costs.

For long distance clients, should client delay the delivery or installation of their kitchen or furniture once installation has been agreed, any losses may be passed on to the client should we be unable to cancel accommodation or travel bookings already made.


Installations and how to prepare the room – For the duration of our installation we require the room to be available to Wentwood installers only, with no other trades working in the area, (unless arranged and agreed in advance for connections etc).

All personal items and other furniture should be removed from the room allowing a clear space for installation.

The installation of your kitchen is one of the last works to be carried out. Removal of existing kitchen, any building work, first and second fix electrical and plumbing, plastering, first coat wall paint and flooring should all be completed prior to Wentwood attending to install your kitchen.


Timber is a natural product. All timber has a wide variety of colouring and grain.

While we go to great lengths to ensure timber is dried correctly movement in solid timber cannot be prevented.

Timber is a natural product and will move and change over time. The client clearly understands and accepts this. Wentwood cannot be held accountable for the movement and change over time of any of our timber products.


Solid Surface

Darker colours show scratches and marks more easily and should be treated with extra care.

Whilst every effort to achieve a seamless join is made, Wentwood does not guarantee you will not be able to see the join, due to variations in worktops adhesive and colour variations.


  • To prevent damage from hot objects, always use heat resistant mats or trivets on the surface of the worktop.
  • Always use a chopping board for preparing food.
  • Wipe spilt liquids away.
  • Wipe immediately with damp cloth.
  • Dried on residues can be removed with a mild abrasive domestic cleaner. Rub gently, rinse and wipe dry.
  • Cleaning with a sponge, water and mild detergent liquid is sufficient for normal maintenance.

Timber worktops

In order to make best use of the timber, there may be larger flaws on the underside of the worktop, including manufacturing defects. These do not constitute a faulty product.

Timber is a natural product and its flaws and imperfections are part of its charm! Clients therefore accept there may be some flaws such as small knots and hairline cracks, which do not affect the performance of the worktop and do not constitute as a fault or damage.

Timber is a natural product and will move and change over time. The client clearly understands and accepts this. Wentwood cannot be held accountable for the movement and change over time of any of our timber products.


Any templating for worktops and splashbacks provided by alternative suppliers should be booked for after the kitchen is fully installed.


Any damages or faults should be reported on installation (this does not include small snags). Snagged items need to be reported within 7 days of installation whereby an appointment will be made to return.
